Start your shopping sojourn uptown at KRB, Kate Rheinstein Brodsky's home store filled with special antiques, decorative accessories and unique finds, predominantly in her favorite shades of green. As you make your way downtown, Lexington Avenue has a stretch of fantastic home decor shops that you can't miss. One of them is the magical cabinet of curiousities Creel and Gow, where Jamie Creel, Marco Scarani and Chris Gow scour the world for one of a kind finds and get exclusive objects made for them. They can be credited with the fascination for all things rock crystal, gemstones and sea life. From setting the table to taxidermy, they have it all.

Mecox Gardens is just around the corner from Creel and Gow. You can rely on Mecox to a have colorful, plentiful assortment of the latest coffee table books, picture frames, accessories and more. They recently held an exhibition of Carolyne Roehm's limited edition prints of her botanical watercolors, as shown in their window.

Located in their new (ish) home in the Fine Arts Building, her collection pieces live with stylish antiques, art, objects, lighting, decorative accessories and finds brought back from Europe. They are going through a blue color story at the moment and there are touches of it everywhere. Perhaps it is the influence of her new book on her Punta Cana getaway, A House by the Sea?

Swing by retail guru Rachel Shechtman's rotating theme permanent pop up store/concept shop, STORY in Chelsea. Her concept, started 5 years and done by theme, is a shopping "experience." The current offering, "Home for the Holidays" is a themed takeover to delight gift givers. The large space is filled with great gifts from smaller brands, indie darling labels, a bit of irreverence and a wink and a smile. Her curation is always jaw-droppingly good.
