ANNOUNCING THE 2019 KIPS BAY DECORATOR SHOW HOUSE DESIGNER LIST

Celebrating its 47th year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is the most esteemed and influential show house in the country. Co-chairs designers Alexa Hampton and Jamie Drake work tirelessly to support the design community and this charity benefits the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club of New York providing community support for after school programs for New York youth. The house, located at 36-38 East 74th Street on the Upper East Side, is large, at 12,425 square-feet and can accommodate this years list of over 20 designers. Being tapped to design a room can be a career defining moment that catapults a designer into a new realm of recognition and stature. Ahead, the list of this years 23 chosen designers that join the design cannon of those that came before, including Albert Hadley, Bunny Williams, David Easton and more. The group includes many familiar designers and an exciting cross section of newer talent. The show house opens its doors May 2nd and is open till the 31st. Congratulations to all and we cannot wait to see how you transform this year’s house.
